[MUSIC] [Music] [Music]! Hi, guys, welcome to this week’s episode of Miss Planet. We are so glad you could join us today. We have a request from a community member and her name is Alexis and she writes Miss Planet. You are my savior. That is hilarious. Not your savior, but definitely your DIY theory, godmother. I’ll take that one. We originally we’re trying to have a private event at an inclusive place, but it got too spendy. My brother-in-law just moved to a house on five acres. Thankfully, we can DIY it there. I found you on Youtube a few days ago and have been binge watching your videos. Oh, that’s so great! If you could please help me realize my bouquet vision and it would be such a great help. Our theme is lemon and lavender. Well, guys, I’m so excited to get started with this week’s episode Lavender fields, cascading bridal bouquet. Well, what are we waiting for, let’s get to it. [MUSIC] [Music] So our first step is to cut our five inch styrofoam ball in half and next, we’re going to go ahead and trim out or carve out the center of one half. The other half can be set aside for another time. You’re gonna first go ahead and trace out an idea of where your straight handle Bouquet. Holder is going to fit and then simply start carving out with a regular kitchen spoon. Once you have carved out enough styrofoam for your straight handle bouquet holder to fit nice and snuggly, you’re ready to attach it with a little bit of hot glue, and you can also attach your bouquet collar to the outside of your bouquet. Handle to create the cascading effect. We’re going to attach eight to ten nine inch lavender stems. And you see, they’re all nine inches, but we’re attaching them at different parts of our styrofoam, so that allows us to have the depth and they’re not all at one same length [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music]. I want to remind you that. For extra security, you can always add a dab of hot glue to the tip of your stems before attaching them to your styrofoam ball. Just take your time and make sure that’s exactly where you want that stem to be placed. So now I’m going to show you how we can take this long mimosa, yellow stem and cut it into smaller branches to fit our bouquet perfectly we’re going to cut them into anywhere from six to four inch stems and go ahead and attach them. [MUSIC] Well, Alexis! How do we do? I hope you love it as much as we do. It turned out absolutely stunning, and I can imagine it on your brother-in-laws five-acre land in your beautiful DIY wedding. I’m just so excited. Thank you so much for allowing us to be a part of your special day.
